Treasure Hunt Guide

With the release of Rockhopper’s Quarters came a new game. It is called “Treasure Hunt.”

This game requires two people, strategy, and patience.

You and your partner have to work together to get the highest amount of coins possible within a limited amount of turns. (6)

There are two sides of the board – the horizontal side (rows) and the vertical side (columns). Player 1 (the first person to join the game) digs the rows and Player 2 (the second person to join the game) digs the columns.

The game starts out with two layers of sand in each of the 100 squares. With each dig, a layer of sand is gone in the entire row/column the player chose.

When the next player goes, the column and row will intersect, and the sand will be dug all the way down in the square they intersected in.

There are 3 types of treasures you can find.

Coin: 1 coin Image
Ruby: 25 coins Image
Emerald: 100 coins Image

A Image indicates that a piece of treasure is buried in that square under 1 layer of sand.

If you see two sparkles right next to each other like this:ImageImage it probably means there is a ruby or emerald under that sand, because they take up more space than just a regular coin, and it is very rare that two coins would be next to each other.

The key of the game is to find the rubies and the emerald. There is only one emerald in every game, so if you get it, you hit the jackpot. :D

This is what comes up if you find the emerald.

I know I spelled wordpress wrong

I’m pretty sure there are at least 3 rubies in every game.

There are probably somewhere around 25 coins in every game.

If anyone has anything to add, please comment it!

P.S My high score on this game is 154. We got an emerald, two rubies, and four coins. (the game you see above with me and Vtiscool)
