RALLY FOR ROCKHOPPER – Featured Story

Even as Rockhopper prepares for a long trip back to Rockhopper Island, penguins everywhere have been rallying this honor and throwing their support for the shipwrecked Captain.
“We know how important the Migrator is to him,” mentioned one penguin. “He has still found a way to have fun with us even though his ship is lost. I wish there was a way we could help him”
Everywhere Rockhopper went he was met with cheers of encouragement.

“Yar har! It warms me heart the ruckus you are all making for an old seabird like me. You be fine sailors indeed!”
Rockhopper and Yarr will be departing on February 1, after packing supplies for the long trip.”I never considered life at sea without me trusty Migrator. I must visit me island and set to work on a new plan,” said the burly pirate.
“Be not worried for me sailors. I was getting a little soft around the edges, so the row will be good for me. I’ll return someday to see ye all, count it a promise! Until then, fair winds and fine days!”
Many penguins have questioned whether the Migrator can be salvaged.
“I’ve checked the telescope several times since the crash took place and it is almost entirely sunk. There must be something we can do to turn this around,” said one sailor.
Rumors have started about a campaign to save the Migrator, though little seems to have been accomplished.
“What we need is support and some good ideas. I know there a lot of penguins that want to help Rockhopper and the best way I can figure to do that is by saving his ship,” said another sailor.
If more news surfaces regarding hope to ‘Save the Migrator’, the Club Penguin Times will be the first to report it. For now, wish Rockhopper well and encourage him if you see him before he casts away on Friday.

COFFEE SHOP AND BOOK ROOM – Featured Room
Page 4
Weather you’re looking for a quiet place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book, or an exiting job to make a few extra coins, you should stop by the Coffee Shop: the best place to mingle and enjoy a cup of coffee.
Here you can relax, or jump up and serve others. If you’ve got a strong back you can help out by unloading bags of coffee beans for the Coffee Shop in the game Bean Counters. This fast paced game takes a lot of skill but pays well.
If you’re looking for somewhere more relaxing to visit, you’ll find the Book Room upstairs. Here there is a fine selection of books to read, and another game set up to play called Mancala. This is a game of strategy you can play with a friend.
On the shelves you’ll find a number of books certain to please any avid reader. There are storybooks, a scrapbook and books with a few hidden surprises.
Weather you’re looking for a place to chill out, or somewhere to earn some coins, be sure to check out the Coffee Shop and the Book Room.
AUNT ARCTIC – Advice
*Page 5*
Dear Aunt Arctic,
How do I get music in my igloo? I’m throwing a party soon and I need to know!
- Songbird
Dear Songbird,
It’s wonderful that you’ll be hosting a get together. Igloo parties are one of the most enjoyable things to do in Club Penguin. In order to fill your igloo with the sounds of music, you’ll need to purchase a home stereo, jukebox, DJ table, piano or a pipe organ. Once you’ve placed one in your igloo, click the cassette tape that appears on the upper right and choose the music you want. Both the home stereo and the jukebox have built in speakers, so you don’t have to purchase more, but you might want to consider getting some to complete your igloo’s look. Check out the Igloo Upgrades catalog for special dance flooring too. You’ll have your own dance club in no time! Good luck with your party.
Dear Aunt Arctic,
Where can I buy one of those propeller hats? Can they really make you fly?
- Stellar Propellor
Dear Stellar Propellor,
Ah, the propeller hat: by far one of my favorite items and the only hat that comes close to replacing my trusty pink toque. I voted it my favorite item back in October of 2006 during a review of the year.
*Page 6*
These nifty caps do indeed allow you to hover above the ground., which makes them a hit at any costume party. I love putting mine on from time to time and floating around my igloo with my green puffle, who has its own. It’s wonderful! So far they have only been available during the April Fools parties, where they’ve been given away for free. It may be possible that another will be released this year, but we’ll have to wait and see.
DESSERT PIZZA – Tips and Tricks
There’s no doubt chefs love making squid pizza. But making chocolate sauce and licorice pizza is an entirely different experience.
To try your flipper at a sweeter slice and make a dessert pizza, head into the kitchen. Before you start, click the lever at the bottom right of the Pizzatron 3000 machine. You’ll be flipping dessert pizzas in no time.
